New Load? Check the Circuit and Panel Together.
When a new appliance or piece of equipment needs a dedicated or 240V circuit, Stone checks the equipment requirements, route and available electrical capacity. If panel work is actually needed, we explain why before you approve it.
For panel capacity questions, see panel and breaker service. For an unexplained dead outlet or repeated trip, start with electrical troubleshooting.
What to Expect
Stone evaluates the existing circuit and device, explains the options, gives you the price before work starts, and handles required permit and inspection steps for our work.

Plan the Circuit Around the Equipment
Buying a new appliance is a good time to check its electrical requirements, especially when changing from gas to electric equipment or moving the installation location. Stone reviews the model information, existing circuit and available capacity before recommending the work. Bring the equipment specifications to the service visit if you have them.
Kitchen and laundry changes
A replacement range, dryer or other appliance may not use the same connection as the old one. Stone evaluates the circuit and receptacle together with the equipment requirements. If the room is being remodeled, planning outlet locations and appliance connections before finishes go in can reduce avoidable rework. See wiring for remodels and home improvements.
Workshops, garages and home offices
A garage tool, office setup or other equipment can change how a circuit is used. Adding outlets gives you more connection points but does not give the existing circuit more capacity. Stone can assess whether the project calls for a circuit extension, a new dedicated circuit or related panel work.
Outdoor equipment and hot tubs
For a hot tub or other outdoor electrical load, the equipment specifications, installation location and route from the panel all affect the project. Stone evaluates the electrical work and protection required for the actual setup. Have the equipment model and proposed location available when you schedule; the electrical plan should be settled before assuming an existing outdoor outlet will work.
