Targeted Wiring, Partial Rewiring or Whole-Home Work?
Residential rewiring is not one standard project. A kitchen remodel may need new circuits only in the rooms being changed. A damaged or unsuitable circuit may call for targeted replacement. A larger renovation or a home with widespread wiring conditions can justify a broader partial or whole-home rewiring plan.
Stone starts with the wiring that is actually present, the condition found and what the homeowner is trying to change. An older house does not automatically become a whole-home rewire simply because of its age.
When Wiring and Capacity Need to Be Planned Together
Modern electrical projects often overlap. An EV charger, electric appliance, workshop, finished basement, hot tub or major remodel can add load while also changing the number and location of circuits. Stone evaluates the wiring scope together with the existing panel and service capacity so one project is not planned in isolation from the rest of the electrical system.

Wiring Symptoms Versus Planned Upgrades
A remodel or new load is a planned wiring project. Flickering lights, burning odor, warm devices, repeated breaker trips or partial power are symptoms that should be diagnosed first rather than treated as automatic evidence that the whole house needs rewiring.
