Breaker Trips With a New Appliance: What Should I Note?
A new appliance can be part of a repeated breaker trip, but the equipment is not automatically the only cause. The circuit, other loads, wiring, breaker, and electrical requirements all matter.
Record the appliance model if known, room, circuit, what else was running, and whether the trip occurs when the appliance starts or after it runs for a while.
If the appliance is part of a larger project, such as an EV charger, remodel, workshop, or kitchen change, describe the broader plan as well.
